I will not talk about his whole biography, because it would be boring, no? :P
Barack Obama has clearly made a big change in the American History. Why?
The racial discrimination in the USA was huge, provoking the civil rights movement (To read a full post talking about the civil rights movements, go to the blog ''All different, all the same'' - it's on the right column of our blog).
Barack Obama was elected the FIRST black president in the American History...maybe it means people are thinking in a modern way and leaving behind the stereotypes against black people.
Curiosity: There is a song called 'Yes we can' by will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas, supporting Obama.
"Yes we can" is also a music that Luciana Abreu sang for Eurovision, last Saturday.
I'm kidding LOL
Thanks for mention my blog :D
I didn't expect to see Barack Obama elected for presidente of the USA, because in America existes a lot of racism.
I like this man because he is very courage.
With Barack Obama the racism could end.
He's a great man. I think USA is in the good way to change something, even if it's just a little thing, it'll be worth it. I was amazed when, hours after he got elected, I read that he won. I was so happy as if he was the portuguese president. x) I think the whole world was excited. Not just because he was elected, but because most american people forgot about all that hate and prejudice and believed in Obama, and didn't look at his background or race. That was a great victory for the USA.
Im glad you mentioned my post (:
